Few  interesting fact about tollywood blockbuster movie ATHADU

1) it was the first Telugu movie to be dubbed into Polish as Poszukiwany, and was released in Poland. It has also been dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam. 

2)The Hindi remake Ek starring Bobby Deol was a flop though, while the Bengali remake Wanted was a huge hit.

3)Producer Murali Mohan wanted the famous Telugu star of yesteryears and his close friend Sobhan Babu to play the role of Satyanarayana Murthy, the family patriarch.

  4)However Sobhan Babu who had retired from Telugu film industry was not interested and the role went to veteran actor Nassar.

 5)The dubbing for Nassar was done by singer-actor S.P.Balasubramaniam, who deliberately used a frail voice.

6)Except the title song, all the other songs in the movie were written by Sirivennala Sitaramasastry.

7)Director Trivikram had the idea for this movie in 2002 itself, and had approached Pawan Kalyan first, who however was not interested

. 

8) While Mahesh Babu showed interest, however Trivikram had to wait, as the former  needed to complete his other movies Nani and Arjun. 

9)The time freeze effect shots in the movie's action scenes were done using around 160 motion cameras imported from London. It took close to 2 years to shoot the climax shootout, as it was entirely shot indoors.

10)The rights of the movie were sold to Maa TV for 1.8 cr and to date it still is played on the channel, recently the rights were renewed for around 3.5 cr.
